Hotel Reservations. The GCBAA Summer meeting is scheduled for August 6-10 at The Ritz-Carlton, Dearborn Michigan. To reserve a room, complete the following Hotel Reservation Form and send the completed form and credit card information to the GCBAA office. Room rates prior to deadline of June 30 are $159.00/night. After June 30 room rates are $289.00 and subject to availability. Each room request must be assigned to a meeting registration. Companies will not be permitted to reserve room blocks. This is being done to avoid early cancellations and subject the GCBAA to penalty fees for not fulfilling the hotel contracted room block. Free shuttle to the hotel is being provided by The Ritz Carlton. You must complete your travel itinerary on the hotel reservation form to qualify.

Hertz Rental Discount. Once again Hertz Rental is offering a discount to GCBAA members. Members can save $5 a day up to $25 off their rental. Plus, you will receive your standard member discount, as well as all the other Hertz benefits. The special offer is valid one week before through one week after the event. Summer Meeting Registration. The registration fee for the 2008 Summer Meeting is $300 for GCBAA members ($400 for non-members) and is due by June 30. Registrations received after June 30 at 5:00pm CST will incur a late fee of $25, making the total registration fee $325. The registration fee includes the cocktail reception on Wednesday, Thursday night dinner, Friday night golf awards reception, Saturday night reception, breakfast Thursday & Friday, the cost for our speakers and panelists, and the welcome package you will receive at arrival. Lunches are on your own unless you plan on playing in the Golf Tournaments where box lunches will be provided.

The optional activities described below may require additional fees. Please complete the enclosed meeting registration form and forward it along with your payment to the GCBAA Executive Office in Lincoln. As in previous years, all fees are non-refundable after July 25 at 5:00pm CST.

Banner Advertising. GCBAA members will have the opportunity to prominently display company logos on 34Óx 56Ó banners hung in the ballroom throughout the Annual Summer Meeting. Space will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost for these banners is $400 each and will be printed by the GCBAA. Call the office soon at 402-476-4444 to reserve your spot and complete the reservation on the Registration form. Please email your company logo to Justin at justin_apel@gcbaa.org.

Tradeshow Booth. The tradeshow is for members to display their products for meeting attendees. The display area is 10Õx10Õ and will include one 6Õ table and two chairs. The tradeshow will be held in The Ritz-Carlton Presidential Ballroom with the cocktail reception on Wednesday night and educational sessions including breaks and breakfast on Thursday and Friday. The exhibit fee is $500 per booth, which is in addition to the registration fees. Up to 30 booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Setup will be Wednesday August 6 from 12:00-5:00 pm. Tradeshow hours will be August 6 from 6:00-8:00 pm, August 7 from 7:00 am-12:00 pm and August 8 from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm. Teardown of the tradeshow displays will be immediately following the golf tournament reception on Friday evening at approximately 9:00 pm or August 9 from 8:00-10:00 am. A tradeshow manual with additional details will be sent upon confirmation of your space reservation.

Cocktail Reception. On Wednesday, August 6 the Opening Cocktail Reception will take place in The Presidential Ballroom. To help us in planning, please be sure to indicate on the registration form if you plan to attend. The cocktail reception will be from 6:00-8:00 pm. If your company is interested in sponsoring or co-sponsoring this cocktail reception, please contact the Executive Office. You must be registered for the conference to attend.

GCBAA Annual Golf Tournament. The celebrated Annual GCBAA Golf Tournament will take place Thursday afternoon, August 7 at the Dearborn Country Club. The fee is $135 per person, which includes lunch, tee gifts, golf shirt, reception and awards scheduled for Friday evening. Transportation for golfers and your clubs will be provided. We can accommodate 144 players on a first-come, first-served basis. The tournament will be a scramble format. You must be a GCBAA member to play; non-members will be placed on a waiting list in the event that openings are available. If you would like to play, please indicate on the registration form your current USGA handicap index or average score and t-shirt size. There are no golf club rentals available at this course.

The Golf Tournament Reception and Awards will be held at The Ritz Carlton Hotel on Friday evening and the cost is included in the meeting registration fee. The reception will begin at 6:00 pm with open bar with tailgate themed Hors dÕ oeuvres; golf tournament awards and GCBAA Foundation raffle. GCBAA Individuals Golf Tournament. An Individuals Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday afternoon, August 8 at TPC Country Club. The fee is $165 per person and in order to play in the Individuals Tournament, players must have played in the GCBAA tournament the previous day. The fee includes lunch and green fees.

Golf Tournament Sponsorship. Another option for marketing your company during the Annual Summer Meeting is sponsorship of a hole at the GCBAA Golf Tournament. In the past, weÕve had some very creative giveaways, contests and donations, and we hope to have even more fun this year. If you want to spotlight your company during the tournament, please fill out the enclosed Golf Tournament Sponsorship Form. The fee is only $50.00.
